Farmers' and Makers Market
This market has two locations, one in the Beltline and in Sunalta. We like this one because it's a not-for-profit Alberta Government certified Farmers Market. Why is that important? It means that over 90% of the products there are locally made, so it's promoting local and sustainability.
Granary Road Farmers' Market
Granary Road has new vendors yearly and hosts pop-up day vendors so that means there's something new every time you visit. They have an aquaponics centre that has the freshest produce available. Make it a day event and grab the kids and check out the active learning park and mini-golf. It is located just Southwest of Calgary.
The Saskatoon Farm
This is home to over 4 acres of organically grown vegetables each season. It's all locally grown in Foothills County. You can pick Saskatoon berries and it has a garden centre and gift shop. They also have a Mexican fusion restaurant so it's perfect for a leisurely Sunday getaway.
